The Pearl of the Italy’s Adriatic Coast: Sirolo

4 beaches perfect for a day trip from Ascoli Piceno
Famous among the locals for it’s lungomare and Molo Sud (Southern breakwater), every summer Ascolani flock to San Benedetto‘s Riviera delle Palme for a dip in the Adriatic sea. These are the best beaches in Le Marche that are reachable by bus, train or car in under 30 minutes from Ascoli Piceno. San Benedetto offers endless white sandy beaches with plenty of nearby options to take shelter from the midday sun and dig into a plate of spaghetti alle vongole.
A bit further out from Ascoli, but well worth the drive if you have a car, are the beaches of Cupra Marittima: Lido Grottamare, Spiaggia Nord and Spiaggia Sud.
